Fair-code workflow automation platform with native AI capabilities. Combine visual building with custom code, self-host or cloud, 400+ integrations.Description from GitHub
n8n is a visual workflow builder: you connect triggers, actions, and conditions on a canvas, and it can call AI models as one node among hundreds of integrations — email, databases, spreadsheets, webhooks.
It suits someone who has a repeatable multi-step task — fetch data, summarise it with a model, post the result somewhere — and wants that sequence to run on a schedule without hand-rolling the plumbing themselves.
The visual canvas can become hard to reason about once a workflow has many branches, and self-hosting it is its own maintenance task. It is a workflow tool first; it is not a place to learn how prompting itself works.

The prompt lab's final module covers the same idea this tool automates — a workflow you can reuse.
