AI repos
What the open-source AI world is building.
Attention on GitHub is not the same as quality — this catalogue shows what people are looking at, labelled with how it was chosen and how fresh the data is, not a ranking of what to use.

How we choose and label these
Where this comes from
Repository names and trending history come from the GitHub Trending Archive (opens in a new tab), an independent daily archive of GitHub’s trending pages. Stars, forks, descriptions, topics, licences, and dates come directly from the GitHub API. A repository is included when it has appeared on a trending board at least twice within the archive window and matches AI-related topics or description terms using a fixed, reviewed rule set — never an AI model deciding at build time.

Trending appearances
Counts how many days a repository appeared on a GitHub trending board within the archive’s window — it reflects attention, not quality, and GitHub does not publish how trending itself is calculated.
