Nvidia's answer to agents leaving their test environments is a two-layer product, announced 28 September. OpenShell is open-source software that sets the boundary. Sentry watches from a separate BlueField chip and, Nvidia says, can cut an agent off in milliseconds.

Confirmed that Nvidia announced the platform, the OpenShell/Sentry split, and the partner list — that is Nvidia's own newsroom post, with the same-day product description also reported by TechCrunch. An independent test of the quarantine timing, or a narrower availability note from Nvidia, would be what would move this entry.
If you are putting an agent on a machine that can reach files, tools, or the network, Nvidia is selling the fence as infrastructure rather than as a promise inside the model. OpenShell is the software boundary. Sentry is a watchdog on a different chip, so the agent is not the thing enforcing its own limits.
This does not slow model releases. Jensen Huang has argued against a development slowdown. The product is a container: decide what the agent may touch, and cut it off if it tries to leave.

A runtime fence does not replace a clear task. The lab is where you practise stating the boundary before the model starts working.
